OUR GIRLS

AUGUST 9TH, 2009 AT MCA DOG SHOW ..... GSDC of MB SPECIALTY SHOW ....
VETERANS FEMALE WINNER ... AND AT THE AGE OF 10 YEARS OLD CASTA ALSO RECEIVED THE "AWARD
OF MERIT" BY JUDGE CHERYL STUBER.October 22nd, 2002 - Casta was a dream come true. My love for her was immediate. To me she was a beautiful female that had it all. A feminine head, gorgeous dark eyes, correct conformation with nice bone, and boy, could my girl move.
My welcome lick on the hand and wagging tail was my first indication of her good nature. Within days she was warning us someone's coming, barking at the door. We started preparing for a show 3 1/2 weeks away. Casta took the demands of lessons and training all in stride. Willing to learn and willing to please - wonderful qualities of her good temperament.
Show Time - Nov. 16th, 2002 - Our first time out and also the Manitoba German Shepherd Dog Club Booster, we took 5 points with Best of Winners and Winners Bitch. Second Show - Feb. 2003 - Best of Opposite Sex and Winners Bitch. Third show and on March 16th - we took Best of Winners and earned her NEW CHAMPION Title.
Casta loves her kong and playing ball. She is great at yard clean-up, claiming anyones toys lying around. We are proud she's a member of our family, and a very alert one, at that.
In September 2004, Casta was entered at the Dog Show in Dryden, Ontario. From the six shows entered Casta obtained a Group 4th, three Best of Breeds and one Best of Opposite Sex. We are very proud of what we accomplished that weekend.
Casta has produced our first champion for our kennel, London, Champion Penhall's Bridge of Gold.
June 9th, 2007 at our German Shepherd Dog Club of Manitoba Specialty Show, Casta was entered in the Veteran Class.
We were very happy she took 1st place in this class with 3 dogs entered. She may be older but she still gives it all
she's got to please mom, owner and handler.

Bailey is my big girl from our London and Ginger litter and she is proving to be just as wonderful as her dad. To me this girl has it all.
A secure and trustworthy temperament that makes her a good Therapy Dog and family companion. Very nice conformation with outreaching movement and large bone which presents the appearance of strength and solid structure. A beautiful noble head with gentle loving eyes and a wonderful will to please is evident as we work towards her obedience titles.
She obtained her Championship in 3 weekend shows in 2008. Earning her first 3 point Major in June at the Kenora & District Dog Club Show with Winner's Female. In July at the Portage Dog Club Show receiving another 3 points for Best of Winners & in August at the Manitoba Canine Association Show a 3 point Major with Best of Winners and 2 points with winners Female to qualify as a New Champion.
